Umineko No Naku Koro Ni Episode II-III: Typo Week
Yeah, about the statement under the episode title, hover the mouse over it and you’ll see why I said that… Ah well, we’re on the eighth episode of the series and the third part to this arc… Kinzo wakes up out of bed and realizes he hasn’t been caught as one of the first sacrifices.
Meanwhile, Rosa and the servants are outside the chapel and see a magic circle on the doors and the words HAPPY HALLOWEEN FOR MARIA written underneath it. Rosa asks them for the Chapel key and they tell her that they don’t have it in their possession. Rosa takes the time to go to the guest house and dig in Maria’s bag, takes out the letter Beatrice gave her and inside was the Chapel key. Battler and the cousins wake up when Rosa gets the key. Rosa goes back to the chapel with the key in hand, unlocks the door, and goes inside with the servants following. Inside, they discover Rudolf, Kyrie, Krauss, Natsuhi, Eva, and Hideyoshi killed by deadly pixels dead with their stomachs torn open. *cue 3rd Meta-world scene*
During the Meta world scene, Battler isn’t very happy with how the first twilight went down, with candy and cookies in their guts. Beato laughs it off and says that in the first game, the first six had their faces destroyed, so it was easy to guess that one might be alive. But now that their faces are left in tact, that tactic ain’t working. Our nigga Battler’s gonna have to think of something else this time around.
The meta world scene ends and as usual the cousins are distraught and Maria turns into a little gremlin like usual. Jessica already remembers Beatrice being there and runs off saying she’s the culprit with Kanon and Gohda following her. Once they leave, George notices three gold bars in the pumpkin on the table. Meanwhile, Jessica reaches Beatrice’s room and looks at the letter on the table, then gets pissed, only to WHEEZE again. Kanon reads the letter. It’s a FUCK YOU letter.
Kanon Vs Goats is up next. I mean really. This all happens before Jessica Simpson tries to talk Emo furniture into a one night stand. Beatrice gives her words of wisdom on a woman’s heart to Emo Furniture. He doesn’t listen, and the queen hates to repeat herself, so she sends in some goats to do the talkin’. And then some hawt babes.
I’m lucky that you’re sexy, but I’m unlucky that you sound like Yui…
As you see above, Emo Furniture defeats the FCC Goat-Headed Butlers and Beato summons Yui from the Light Music Club Asmosdeus of the Stakes of Purgatory to fight Kanon. She changes into a stake and tries to poke Furniture ass in the ASS, but Jessica used her back to take the hit. She’s down, and Beato then summons Mio from the Light Music Club Satan of the Seven Stakes of Purgatory, who succeeds in killing Emo Furniture boy for the second time since she claims to have killed him in episode one. Jessica wants to learn Emo Furniture’s real name but dies before she could hear it, and he eventually dies as well. Beatrice erases his corpse suddenly as a way to further humiliate the boy. Meanwhile, George, Battler, Rosa, and the servants discuss the whole Chapel murders. George begins to ponder about the key to the chapel and how they could’ve gotten it. the Chapel is always locked and the key was in the letter. *Cue Meta-world scene 4* We’re finally introduced to the red text, a real important part of the series and key points to come up with theories. We’ll keep these red texts in handy so we’ll come up with theories together.
After a series of red truths, Battler suggests that the culprit snuck inside of the room while everyone was asleep, took the key, killed everyone, and then put the key back. Beatrice couldn’t counter that, so she congratulates mah boi in a job well done. Though there are more mysteries to solve… Meta-scene ends and Battler asks Maria if she knows the answer to the riddle and the little gremlin makes it clear she couldn’t give two fucks about the riddle. Rosa comes in with a gun in hand and says she’ll protect everyone… Same thing Natsuhi said, which got a bullet in her head. Here’s hoping Rosa shoots that gremlin…
The above statement is a joke from GG subs. Anyway, this episode delivered in gore, but now i gotta watch it Uncut. deep down wanted to see what was behind the pixel shadings. I mean, they coulda used dark blur or some shit instead of pixels. Seriously DEEN, PIXELS? Go back to pixar you fucks. XD
anyway, With the introduction of the Red Truth, we can use it to come up with a buncha theories and get closer to the trick and answers. Rosa carrying the gun this time around, i can so see some form of Child abuse with it involved. I hope… Alas, I was kinda going wtf at the appearance of the goats and even more WTF at the light swords, but this is supposed to be a show that pits anti-mystery against anti-fantasy, so It’s understandable and i’ll let it slide. I quite enjoyed it, though i get entertained easily when things have a fight scene. I just wished they had kinda made the scene a little better. At least the quality was good, that’s for sure.
Hell, I found it funny how Beato erased Furniture Boy’s corpse. I guess he’ll reappear as the chopping board Gohda uses. I’ll try to screencap every Red Truth i see as i blog this show.
